  • Sophia Moritz

    JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    Sophia Moritz is a passionate LA-based dancer with training in various styles including ballet, contemporary, modern, and Bollywood. Her love for dance started at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. She received her Bachelor's degree from Skidmore College where she double majored in Neuroscience and Dance; Sophia also recently completed her Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Ohad Naharin, Pascal Rioult, and many others. Sophia is passionate about blending the arts and sciences and discovering how these two realms intersect and complement one another. She is so excited to be part of the Little Women Ballet! 

  • Rebekah Tkach

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Rebekah Tkach is a Southern California native and alumna of Pasadena Civic Ballet where she trained and performed for over 10 years. She has training in various styles including classical ballet, contemporary, character, and modern dance. During the summers of 2020, 2021, and 2022 she trained and performed with Ballet Magnificat at their summer intensive. In 2023 she attended Anaheim Ballet's summer intensive and especially enjoyed performing in their summer production of Les Sylphides. Rebekah is currently studying psychology at Biola University and is excited to continue her journey with Little Women Ballet!

  • Katherine Moritz

    ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH)

    Katherine Moritz is an alumnus of Pasadena Civic Ballet and danced at the studio for 15 years. Some of the memorable roles she had as a member were Tiger Lily in Peter Pan (2014) and Sea Snake in The Little Mermaid (2015). After she graduated from PCB, she attended Elon University where she got her bachelor’s degree in Art History. While a student at Elon, she was part of the executive board for a club, Dance Works, where she taught classes as well as choreographed, and curated a dance performance once a year. Katherine has always had a love for dance, and she is really excited to be working on this Little Women Project as Beth.

  • Catie Faye Smith

    AMY MARCH

    Catie Faye Smith was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She studied R.A.D., Vaganova, Graham, Horton and various neoclassical/contemporary styles, eventually graduating as valedictorian from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. She went on to study with Gelsey Kirkland in New York and Svetlana Sidorova at Perm Ballet School in Russia. She has been a company member in City Ballet of San Diego, California Ballet, Ken Dance Company, and Los Angeles Choreographers and Dancers. She was featured as Lizette in the world premiere of the immersive theater show Crimson Cabaret. In 2017, Catie began acting in film, and her production company Stray Souls Entertainment earned recognition at the Underground Film Festival for their inaugural short film. She is also the co-founder of two artistic ensembles: Your Own Content Group, a film collaborative, and T.A.C.T. Dance Company. She currently trains at Warner Loughlin studios, and is a teaching assistant at the BGB school. Catie graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley in 2020.

  • Riley Jennings

    YOUNG LOUISA MAY ALCOTT

    Riley has been preforming for 12 years. She started her journey at PCB at age 5, has been there ever since. She is a part of the Senior Company, and has showcased her skill in many ballets including performing the role of a Toe Tapping Tuxedo Fish in The Little Mermaid. In addition to dance, she is heavily involved with Musical Theatre. She attends CSArt’s Musical Theatre conservatory, and has been in over 20 musicals and plays. Some including playing: Feste in Twelfth Night, Jewell Estes in Floyd Collins, Bert in Mary Poppins, and Schwartzy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Little Women Ballet has been such a special experience, and she gives thanks to everyone who is a part of the production, especially Emma who brought this beautiful and inspiring piece to life.

  • Christopher Flores

    THEODORE LAURENCE (LAURIE)

    Christopher graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in Dance. He received a grant to train at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. After graduation, he danced with Nashville Ballet for two years in their second company, performing in ballets such as Swan Lake, Peter Pan, and Nashville's Nutcracker. Christopher is a company member with Anaheim Ballet. Apart from dance, he just received his Masters in Divinity from The King's University, where a portion of his studies were completed at Oxford University in England.

  • Jacob Robleto

    FREDRICH BHAER

    Jacob is a Los Angeles native. He studied under Glen Edgerton at Colburn Dance Institute while attending Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Furthering his education, Jacob studied Choreography at the Laban Conservatoire in London. Since dancing with various companies between London and Los Angeles, Jacob now focuses on helping the dance community expand and find talented artist to provide assistance in performance growth. He is one of four co-founders of ChoCoLA. Welcome Jacob!

  • Alberto Hernandez

    JOHN BROOKE

    Alberto has been dancing and teaching for over 20 years in various studios, school programs and high schools across southern California. He has worked with competition groups and set choreography for many stage performances. Alberto has attended and performed for many college dance programs as a student and guest performer these include Orange Coast College, Cerritos College, El Camino College and Los Angeles Trade Tech. While attending college Alberto was furthering his dance education at various professional studios in the Los Angeles area that include; Edge Performing Arts Center, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Moro Landis Dance Studio (also known as Millennium Dance Complex) and Pasadena Civic Ballet. Alberto has worked with Black Eyed Peas, Redfoo and Weezer and has performed on stage alongside The Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, National Folkloric Ballet of Spain at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and California Philharmonic just to name a few. Alberto continues to further his dance education in hopes to motivate and bring new methods of dance training to his students.

  • José Luis Reyes

    FATHER MARCH

    At 18, José began his dance training under the direction of Diane DeFranco. His college classes introduced him to ballet, where his joy for dance blossomed. Three years later he was invited to perform in his first PCB show, Hansel and Gretel, where he brought to life the characters of a raccoon and a tree. 

    In 2003, José was awarded a full scholarship to EDGE Performing Arts Center. As well as dancing with up-and-coming singers and in music videos, he continued to perform with PCB through the years.   José performed parts such as the Wizard (of Oz), King Triton in the Little Mermaid and countless Greeks, Romans, dinosaurs and Pirates. He is also performing as Father in PCB alum and teacher, Emma Andres’ Little Women Ballet.  José’s stand-out skill is his ability to flow from dancer to costumer and back again in the blink of an eye. 

    José has been teaching at PCB for 19 years.  He has shared his variety of dance skills with students in ballet, jazz and tap. He also manages the extensive costuming and props department for the studio, curating and creating, tailoring and adorning, repairing and cleaning hundreds of costumes for each show.

    José is an invaluable part of the PCB community!

  • Ross Clark

    GRANDFATHER LAURENCE

    Ross Clark started his performing career with the National Ballet in Washington DC at the age of 7 in the Nutcracker. He performed with the National Ballet when they needed a young boy until he was cast in his first Broadway show, “Take Me Along” starring Jackie Gleason two weeks before his 10th birthday. He continued to work on Broadway and in National tours of “Music Man”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Gypsy”, “Oliver!”, “Mame”, “Annie Get Your Gun” and “The Lion In Winter” through his teen Years. He attended Northwestern University, Purdue University and The Pasadena Playhouse College of Theatre Arts as part of the last graduating class. He continued his studies at USC as a directing major where he received his MFA in Theatre and Film.

    After graduation Ross began writing and producing shows for amusement parks all over the country as well as producing product introductions for companies such as Apple Computer, Ford Motor Company, Anheuser-Busch and Adobe Systems.

    Ross is currently the Director of the Musical Theatre/Children’s Theatre Ensemble at the Pasadena Civic Ballet and with them helped bring children’s theater back to Pasadena. Ross is a board member of the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni and Associates. Working on The Fantasticks at the Pasadena Playhouse completes the circle that began with Ross playing the piano for the 1969 student production of the show.

  • Denise Moses

    AUNT MARCH

    Denise’s extensive performing background includes New York and National Tour stage credits, as well as TV, Commercial, Voice-over, and film roles. She has received critical acclaim for her original one-woman multi-character shows (GIRLY SHOW, GROWING UP, and LIKING IT).

    The New York Post called her “… a versatile actress comparable to the most well-known character comedienne, Lily Tomlin.” Pasadena Civic Ballet appearances: THE WIZARD OF OZ (Wicked Witch); GISELLE (Giselle’s Mother Berthe); CINDERELLA (Stepmother). Most recently, she was a guest artist in Hollywood Ballet’s production of NUTCRACKER as Grandmother. She is thrilled to be reprising the role of Aunt March in LITTLE WOMEN BALLET. Denise dedicates her performance to the memory of her late husband, Craig Williams.

  • Ellen Relac

    SALLIE GARDINER

    US MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    From Weston, Connecticut, Ellen Relac is a passionate and technical dancer located in Los Angeles. She trained in classical ballet with Christina Fagundes (SFB, ABT) and Jennifer Tinsley Williams (NYCB) in Connecticut and went on to earn her BA in Creative Writing and Theater from UCLA.

    A member of the original cast of the play “Queen Bee,” Ellen will appear in its revival this year at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she produces films, works in meditation, and runs a tutoring business. She is so excited to be part of Little Women Ballet!

  • Kate Seales

    SALLIE GARDINER

    US ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH)

    From La Crescenta, CA, Kate began ballet at the age of 3 and is thrilled to be able to continue it now, 15 years later! Her most recent highlight is playing the role of Princess Rose in Pasadena Civic Ballet's production of "The 12 Dancing Princesses." This Summer, Kate is looking forward to attending Boston Ballet's Summer Dance Program for the second year before starting at Cal State Fullerton in the Fall. In the future, she hopes to graduate with a degree in Dance and join a professional ballet company. In her free time, Kate loves to cook and explore the farmer's market. After previously portraying Hannah, Beth, and Sallie, she is thrilled to add Jo to her repertoire and continue to be a part of Little Women Ballet for the second year!

  • Evan Hernandez

    NED MOFFAT

    Evan has been dancing professionally since age 9 when he was cast for Lythgoe Family productions “A Snow White Christmas” alongside director Bonnie Lythgoe. Since then he has performed for many stage productions for choreographers like Tabitha and Napolean (NappyTabbs), Dave Scott, Marty Kudelka, Guy Amir and Phil Wright. Evan has worked in both commercial and industrial projects for companies such as Verizon, Adidas, Old Navy, Nickelodeon, and Sketchers. He is specially trained in break dance, tumbling and parkour aside from traditional dance forms. Evan continues to pursue his dance training and enjoys the challenges that come along the way.

  • Madison Morris

    HANNAH MULLET

    Madison has performed on a variety of stages dancing with the Inland Pacific Ballet (Principal), Houston Ballet (Corps de Ballet), and Anaheim Ballet and performing at galas and festivals across the country. She has danced styles ranging from classical and character/folk to modern and contemporary and has performed a notable range of roles including protagonists (Cinderella in “Cinderella”), antagonists (Seawitch in "The Little Mermaid"), and everything in between (Snow Queen, Dew Drop, acting/character roles, etc). She has performed in works by several acclaimed choreographers such as Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, John Cranko, George Balanchine, Sir Ben Stevenson, Mark Morris, and Christopher Wheeldon and in world premiers such as Stanton Welch's "Marie" and "La Bayadere.” She has appeared in a number of publications including a book (i.e. "The Telling Image") and magazines ranging from local to national (i.e. Dance Magazine, Pointe, Dance Advantage, Arts & Culture Texas, etc).

    From Pasadena, CA, Madison Marsh currently attends the California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley as a member of the Commercial Dance Conservatory, where she trains in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, tap, and other dance genres. Additionally, she has been enrolled as a student with Pasadena Civic Ballet and performed as a trainee with Hollywood Ballet for their inaugural gala, “the Nutcracker”, and “Hollywood Holidays.” Madison is honored to be a new member of the Little Women Ballet cast and can’t wait to play the role of Amy!

    Jordan Oz is a Los Angeles based actor with training from The Groundlings and Diana Castle’s The Imagined Life. Jordan loves being a part of telling stories, especially those in the Coming of Age genre. Jordan’s recent projects include The Little Women Ballet and several upcoming short films (Improv Girl, Unfaithful!, Our Lives After, and Run Away with Me) coming soon to a theatre or screen near you!

    Audrey Blair

    Audrey is a dancer from Eagle Rock, California that has trained with Peninsula School of Performing Arts as well as Leigh Purtill Ballet. She attended the Los Angeles Ballet Summer Intensive this year, and is a freshman at Pasadena City College with a major in Dance. She is currently a dancer with the Leigh Purtill Ballet Company.

  • Makena Bolton

    Makenna is delighted to be connecting back to her roots in ballet and perform in this time classic story. Since the age of 3 Makenna has been training in a multitude of styles of dance, she graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, has worked on musicals as a choreographer, and is now back in LA to continue her journey in the performing arts. In her free time Makenna loves to write, paint, and camp. She would like to thank her parents for their endless love and support, her dance teachers, and the beautiful people who came here today to support her work!

  • Odette Finn

    Odette Finn

    COMPANY

    Odette Finn, from Claremont CA, received her ballet training from Inland Pacific Ballet.  She has performed a variety of roles in productions including, Giselle, Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cinderella, and the Nutcracker. She has danced with Santa Barbara City College Dance Company during their 2022-2024 seasons, under the direction of Tracy Kofford. Odette is currently continuing her training with Santa Barbara Festival Ballet, and State Street Ballet. She is grateful and thrilled to be in the timeless tale of the Little Women this year.

  • Isabella Granquist

    COMPANY

    Isabella Granqvist, originally from San Jose, California, began her dance training at the New Ballet (previously Ballet San Jose). There, she joined the Studio Company under Dalia Rawson and performed leading roles in full-length ballets Cinderella and The San Jose Nutcracker. She also worked with San Jose Opera in their production of Idomeneo.

    While briefly living in Stockholm, Sweden, Isabella trained at BASE23 under Mia Stagh, where she was able to perform for Queen Silvia of Sweden in a gala at Stockholm’s city hall. She also trained at the Royal Swedish Ballet School’s summer intensive and was accepted into their year-long program for the 2012-2013 year.

    In 2023, Isabella earned her B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University of California, Irvine. During her time at UC Irvine, she performed in large-scale excerpts from classical ballets such as Paquita and La Sylphide, as well as many original works featuring contemporary ballet, modern, and classical Indian dance (Odissi). She was fortunate enough to work closely with teachers and choreographers Tong Wang, Vitor Luiz, Molly Lynch, and Diane Diefenderfer, among many others. In 2022, Isabella earned the William J. Gillespie Dance Scholarship, awarded to outstanding Dance majors with an emphasis in ballet.

  • Deneen Melody McCracken

    Deneen Melody McCracken

    COMPANY

    A native Texan, Deneen began training and performing with various schools around the state including Payne Academy of BalletBallet Austin, and even attended classes at Houston Ballet to learn from her favorite ballerina, Lauren Anderson. Some of her most memorable highlights include dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy with Woodlands Ballet Theatre, performing in Burklyn Ballet Theater's Snow White at the Edinburgh Fringe, dancing with the Sandra Organ Dance Company, and being personally selected by choreographer Fatima Robinson to work with her and director Kenny Ortega for a series on NBC. Currently, Deneen performs as one of the mainstage dancers for the long-running Labyrinth Masquerade and can also be seen dancing as the mysterious Black Rose for the annual LA Noir NYE at the historic Biltmore.

    Aside from being a dancer, Deneen is a professional voice actor and can be heard in a variety of animated shows including Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat NoirRainbow High, and Romantic Killer on Netflix.

    As a long-time fan of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, Deneen is thrilled to join Little Women Ballet for their first full-length production! 

  • Betty Moler

    COMPANY

    Betty Grace Moler has trained in depth at ballet, contemporary, and choreography. She attended the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School in high school, performing in the American Ballet Theatre Nutcracker in 2016. She graduated in 2023 from Texas Christian University with a BFA in Modern Dance. There, she performed ballet and contemporary works choreographed by guests (Jamila Glass, Richard Freeman) and faculty (Keith Saunders). She has attended numerous summer intensives at dance companies including LA Contemporary Dance Company, American Ballet Theatre, Texas Ballet Theatre, and Orlando Ballet. In June 2024 she performed with and choreographed for music artist Black Polish for the Outloud music festival. She is excited to be performing with Little Women Ballet!

  • Jill Oates

    US MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Jill Oates, originally from Winters California, is a graduate from UC Irvine with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Growing up, her dance training was primarily focused in classical ballet but has trained in modern and jazz as well. Jill was the inaugural recipient of the ASTAIREAWARDS Excellence in Dance Scholarship at UC Irvine and had the chance to perform pieces by accomplished choreographers: Tong Wang, Molly Lynch, Diane Diefenderfer, and Dante Puleio. Jill danced as a company member with Central West Ballet Company for 5 years, ending as a soloist in 2023. Outside of dance, Jill is currently working as an Elephant Wildlife Care Specialist at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. She is very excited to be dancing and performing again in Southern California as a part of Little Women Ballet.

  • Hanna Peddicord

    COMPANY

    US JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    Born in Baltimore, MD, Hanna Peddicord is now a Los Angeles-based freelance dance artist and performer. Throughout her youth, she trained in a variety of styles, but she is most influenced by contemporary and ballet technique. In 2021, she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from Florida State University under the direction of Ilana Goldman, Anjali Austin, Gwen Welliver and Jawole Willow Jo Zollar. Hanna had the pleasure of joining Royal Flux as a company member in 2022, but has also worked with Will Johnston, Haley Kostas, Dasha Terotova, Geometry Dance Company, and Soulescape the Company. Most recently, she performed a collaborative evening length work at Stomping Ground LA titled “here, there.” Outside of performing she is a certified fitness guide with KINRGY, where she continues to indulge in movement as a form of exploration of the self and the world. Hanna is honored to join the Little Women Ballet family and is eager to play as an artist through this immersive experience!

  • Maya Peterson

    Maya Peterson

    COMPANY

    Maya Peterson is a recent UCLA graduate with a B.A. in World Arts & Cultures/Dance and a double minor in Cognitive Science and Film & Television. At the age of two, she started training in the genres of ballet, jazz, tap, and modern. Pursuing her higher education at UCLA’s WAC/D Department, she had the chance to delve into post-modern techniques and choreography. She currently performs at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, while pursuing other commercial and concert dance opportunities.

  • Anna Lee Rohovec

    COMPANY

    US JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    From New Mexico, Anna Lee Rohovec graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Ballet and a Spanish minor. Anna Lee danced the role of Giselle in UC’s mainstage production of “Giselle” alongside Cincinnati Ballet’s company member Jace Pauly as Albrecht. At UC, Rohovec also performed soloist roles in Les Sylphides staged by Deirdre Carberry and En Tournee choreographed by Qi Jaing. She worked with several guest artists including Amy Seiwert and Jennie Creer-King and choreographed for the Student

    Choreographer’s Showcases. After graduating from UC in 2022, Rohovec spent the 2022-2023 season as a trainee with State Street Ballet. As of June 2023, Rohovec has been dancing as a company member with Brockus Red Dance Company in Los Angeles. She is thrilled to be Jo March in Little Women Ballet!

  • Claire Simmons

    US ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH)

    Claire Simmons, Pacific Grove, California native, holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from the University of California, Irvine. She began her training with Carol Richmond at Carmel Academy of Performing Arts and spent summers with Backhausdance, American Academy of Ballet, UCLA, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Claire continued her dance journey at UC Irvine, where she worked with Lar Lubovitch, Molly Lynch, and Dr. Lisa Naugle. In college, she earned the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction and Cloud Hsueh Scholarship, co-directed the campus organization Bare Bones Dance Theater, and performed in Rome, Italy, with her fellow classmates and Italian students. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2023, she has danced with Universal Studios Hollywood (M3GAN at Halloween Horror Nights), Lume Dance Collective, SCOPIXDance Collective, and Spector Dance. She is delighted to join the Little Women Ballet family.

  • Kassandra Vogel

    Kassandra Vogel

    Kassandra Vogel recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine as a triple major earning B.F.A. degrees in Choreography and Performance, and a B.A. in Psychological Sciences. She has been dancing since the age of three, receiving diverse training in various styles such as ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, flamenco and hip hop at California Ballet School in San Diego. Before graduating highschool, she danced as a trainee with the California Ballet Company during their 2019-2020 season under the artistic direction of Jared Nelson. At UC Irvine she honed her skills as both a performer and a choreographer, studying under esteemed faculty members Lar Lubovitch, Diane Diefenderfer, Vitor Luiz, Tong Wang, Molly Lynch, and more. Since graduating in June of 2024, Kassandra has been pursuing her passion as a freelance dancer in the Los Angeles and Orange County area.

  • Edmund Baghdasaryan

    COMPANY

    Edmond Baghdasaryan, is an accomplished ballet dancer with extensive experience as a soloist with the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (2018–2024). He has performed key roles in renowned productions such as Spartacus, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Carmen. His international tours include performances in Saudi Arabia and the USA, along with appearances at prestigious festivals in Estonia and France. Trained at Yerevan College of Choreography and Moscow State College of Choreography, Edmond is also pursuing degrees in Psychology and Philosophy at Yerevan State University, showcasing his dedication to both art and academia.

    Dj Smith has been performing around the SoCal area for the last decade. He has performed as a dancer and stunt performer at Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Knotts Berry Farm. Theatre company’s worked with include 3d-theatricals, McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Anaheim Ballet, and Theatre Royale Tours.
